Why You Should Try CityPass

I usually like to to plan my own trips and go at my own pace, so I am not a huge fan of organized tours. What I am a huge fan of are discounts. Who isn’t? When you are traveling, you definitely want to get discounts on entry fees to popular sights and attractions in your destination. That’s where CityPass comes in. CityPass sells discounted ticket packages to top attractions in various popular cities.

Keep in mind, the discounts are only on certain selected attractions, but chances are these attractions are on your itinerary anyway. What I like to do is check out CityPass for my city of choice and see if the package includes most of the attractions on my list. If it does, then I get it. I can still visit any other sight on my list, but I will at least get a discount for the ones covered by CityPass. So far it has worked out really well for me.

I wish you could get CityPass for any city in the world, but it is limited to only a select few in North America. These include: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Toronto.

The CityPass prices tend to vary according to the city. For example, CityPass New York is way more expensive than CityPass Atlanta. The key is to make sure it’s worth it to you. Are most of the CityPass attractions for that particular city on your list? Will it save you money? If so, then why not give it a try?

Happy Traveling!
